Protecting our users’ privacy is important to us. As a user of the Synqion website, you are subject to our privacy policy as outlined below.

Data Collection

In principle, you can use the Synqion website without telling us who you are. All we know is the identity of your internet service provider (ISP), the web page from which you arrive on our site and the pages that you visit on our site. We evaluate this information for statistical purposes.

Use of Google Analytics

This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google, Inc. (“Google”). Google Analytics uses “cookies”, which are text files placed on your computer, to help the website analyze how users use the site. The information generated by the cookie about your use of the website will be transmitted to and stored by Google on servers in the United States .

In case IP-anonymisation is activated on this website, your IP address will be truncated within the area of Member States of the European Union or other parties to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases the whole IP address will be first transfered to a Google server in the USA and truncated there. The IP-anonymisation is active on this website.

Google will use this information on behalf of the operator of this website for the purpose of evaluating your use of the website, compiling reports on website activity for website operators and providing them other services relating to website activity and internet usage.

The IP-address, that your Browser conveys within the scope of Google Analytics, will not be associated with any other data held by Google. Collection and Processing of Personal Information

We treat the personal information you provide when placing an order as confidential information. Without your express permission, we will use your details for the sole purpose of fulfilling your order. We will not pass on any of your personal information without your consent unless it is essential for us to do so in order to fulfill our contractual obligations to you. Our data protection practices comply with the German Data Protection Act (BDSG) and the Telemedia Act (TMG). We will process and use your personal information in accordance with the relevant requirements of the Telemedia Act and the Data Protection Act. We take appropriate technical and organizational measures to ensure that we, and any external contractors working for us, comply with the statutory data protection requirements.

We will keep your order details on file for accounting and tax purposes.

We use your details for the sole purpose of fulfilling your order. On principle, we do not pass on any personal information unless you have given us your express permission to do so. If information has to be relayed to third parties in the course of processing your order (for the purposes of order fulfillment, shipping and delivery, or payment processing), these third parties are likewise subject to the terms of the German Data Protection Act, the Telemedia Act, or other statutory data protection requirements. In such cases, the amount of information relayed is kept to the minimum necessary.

Encrypted Data Transmission

As soon as you “login” or begin placing an order, all the information you enter is transmitted via an encrypted connection using SSL technology. The necessary SSL certificate installed on our server was issued by an independent organization .

You can make sure you are using an encrypted connection by checking that the address displayed in your browser changes from http:// to https://.

Once you have established the encrypted SSL connection, third parties will be unable to read any of the information you send to the shop.

Credit card and direct debit payments are processed on our behalf by Paymill (www.paymill.com) and Pactas.

Payment

The shop accepts all conventional payment methods (Visa, MasterCard, direct debit), which are processed by our payment service provider, Saferpay and Paymill. This means no credit card information is stored on our server. Paymill’s and Saferpay’s data center meets all the security requirements of the credit card companies, using only the latest encryption and security technology. The data center is monitored 24/7 and maximum uptime is guaranteed.

Cookies

Our website uses cookies to manage your secure HTTPS sessions. Cookies are small text files placed on your computer, which you can delete via your browser at any time. We do not store or evaluate any of the cookie data.

Opt-out and Update Policies

Opt-Out Policy: 
If, at any time after registering or ordering our services, you change your mind about receiving information from us or about the use of information volunteered by you, please send us a request specifying your new choice. To opt out of marketing or promotional emails, please click the unsubscribe link in the body of the email communication to be removed.

If you have a running Synqion software installation, you will receive information by email about maintenance, updates and security. To opt out of product update, maintenance or security emails, you must uninstall all Synqion clients. After that please send an e-mail with the request to delete all your personal data to info@synqion.com. You can expect to receive a response to any such update request within thirty (30) days of receipt of the request.

Updating Your Information: 
We provide all registered Synqion users the options of reviewing, changing, deleting and modifying personally identifiable information previously provided. To update your organization’s profile, user profiles, billing information or to discontinue the service, please e-mail: info@synqion.com. You can expect to receive a response to any such update request within thirty (30) days of receipt of the request.

Questions or Concerns?

You have the right to request details of the personal information that we hold on you and the purposes for which it is kept. You can also ask us to correct any incorrect information and to delete any information that we are not permitted or no longer have any need to hold. We will retain your information only for as long as we are required to by law.
